Monday, September 2nd – Soap Box Derby starts the day off at Iccom Drive and Lorne Bridge 8am - 12pm. Followed by a Solidarity march departing from the Labour Centre ending with free admission to Earl Haig Fun Park for a Family Fun Day. Activities include: Lazy river, waster slides, mini golf batting cages and children's water play area. (Click for flyer)

Thanks to everyone who helped out with and attended the Library Appreciation Barbecue. We had a great time with excellent food and a special thank you goes out to Mr. Brennan, our Recording Secretary's father who was our grill-master extraordinaire! The library is hugely important to the community and all CUPE 960 members do a great job to provide the best customer service both internally and externally.
